Making space for the future

It would be impossible to be human and not to have lived through some amount of pain. We can probably all remember times in our lives when we have been ruminating so much about the past that we have ended up depriving ourselves of being able to live in the present. Sometimes we can get “stuck” in our feelings of pain and may be going and over over how things could or should have been different. Sometimes we are unable to forgive someone else, or unable to forgive ourselves.

Getting to a place where we are able to accept and acknowledge the pain of the past can be a doorway to how we want to live in the future. It can be liberating to learn to let go of the things that are out of our control so we can make space in our lives for the things we would like to happen.
